This survey course approaches world history through the lens of God’s providence, revealing how God sovereignly directed human events to prepare for the coming of Jesus Christ. Using Kevin Swanson's "Preparing the World for Jesus" as the primary text, students will examine how archaeological findings consistently affirm biblical narratives while discovering the interconnected nature of ancient civilizations. The course emphasizes historical interpretation from a biblical worldview, demonstrating how each major empire and cultural development served God's redemptive purpose.
